Since 2001 the company has been providing services in the Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia area. Specific areas of service include: Psychological Testing, Psychological Therapy, Life Coaching, Behavioral Support, Occupational Therapy, and Speech and Language Services. We also provide training, program development, and data analysis for mental health and specialized education related issues.

I am David Cranford, Ph.D., the CEO and Business Architect of Acumen Behavioral Consulting. I received my Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1999, and I have been licensed as a clinical psychologist since 2001. Over the past several years my company has provided services to mental health and addiction research agencies, psychiatric rehabilitation centers, courts/corrections, public school systems, private practices, and for profit corporations.
